Funerals
Funerals and Memorials
Song | Amazing Grace
At a person’s death, the church shares the grief of those who mourn and remembers the brevity of life on earth. At the funeral we give voice to sorrow, thank God for our loved one and entrust this companion of ours into the hands of God. Trusting in God’s promise in baptism that we are claimed by Christ forever, we rest in the sure hope of the resurrection.

St. Paul’s ministry extends care, comfort and support to help your journey of remembrance as you celebrate a life, whether as a pre-plan for yourself or at the time of death of a loved one. Funerals, Memorials and Remembrances are centred around the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Preparations for a funeral or memorial service may involve family members, a funeral home, St. Paul’s minister of music and pastor.
If a death is anticipated, contact the church office to arrange for a pastoral visit with prayers and a commendation of the dying. When death occurs, contact the pastor.
